BARBARA FAGA, FASLA, is a principal and executive vice president with EDAW, an international firm focused on landscape design, environment, economics, and planning. She is a landscape architect and urban designer with more than 25 years of experience emphasizing urban projects,including the Wharf District Park in Boston’s Rose Kennedy Greenway, Centennial Olympic Park in Atlanta, Diagonal Mar Parc in Barcelona, Schuylkill River master plan in Philadelphia, and the Carter Presidential Center in Atlanta. She is the author of Designing Public Consensus: The Civic Theater of Community Participation for Architects, Landscape Architects, Planners and Urban Designers (Wiley, 2006) and a contributing author to Rebuilding Urban Places After Disaster: Lessons from Hurricane Katrina (University of Pennsylvania Press, 2006). Her home base is Atlanta.
